1961 BMW Isetta 300 Three-Wheeler
UK Built - Right Hand Drive
32787 Miles from New
A timeless icon of compact design and efficiency. With its unique front-opening door and 298cc engine, this microcar is as practical as it is stylish. Famed for its innovative design and unbeatable character, the Isetta is a true classis that turns heads wherever it goes. Small in size, big in personality.
The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under license in different countries, including the United Kingdom. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a bubble car.
This little beauty was built in the UK to Right Hand Drive specification with the door hinged from the right hand side. Lucas electrics replaced the German Hella and Bosch components.
The original Buff logbook shows Olive Watts as the keeper of the Isetta up until 1990, when she gave up driving. The car went to storage and sold in 1995. Over a period the car was renovated but is still totally original apart from the fresh paintwork.
Accompanying the Isetta is a beautiful history file containing MOT’s, original Buff logbook, historical tax discs back to 1961, manuals and service receipts.
A remarkable little car, available for viewing in our London showroom.
